Terms & Conditions
Please read, by completing your order, you have agreed to the terms and conditions of this website and store.
BLK AND NOIR reserves to right to decline service to users and/or disable accounts of users who commit acts of suspicious activity,ill-intent or fraudulent activities at any time.
Terms and Conditions are subject change without notice. We do not tolerate emails containing offensive language,disrespect, threats, or demands. This type of behavior is a violation of our terms and conditions; which reserves us the right to cancel,refund your order or terminate your account.
Returns request are accepted within 7 days from the order arrives to you. After you have been approved for a return, you have up to another 7 days to mail it (meaning it must be in the mail within 7 days and tracking must be given to us). After this time period, we reserve the right to deny the return.
Returns must be received in NEW and UNWORN condition with tags attached and original packing slip. With returns you can receive a STORE CREDIT only, which will issue a credit in the amount of the original sale minus shipping. We do not accept worn items, items not properly packaged or items that show obvious signs of abuse. BLK AND NOIR reserves to refuse returned items that do not follow these guidelines.
Free Shipping Returns
Free shipping only goes one way. When you receive free shipping by coupon or order total, we are waiving shipping meaning we are paying for it to ship free. If an item is returned, the item will be refundeD minus the shipping we initially waived.
Before sending a return you must fill out a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) form. See below on how to request one.

FINAL SALE ITEMS
-EARRINGS and pierced jewelry are FINAL sale and cannot be returned for sanitary reasons.
-SALE, IMPORTED and VINTAGE items are FINAL sale and cannot be returned.
-CUSTOM ITEMS,PERSONALIZED ITEMS are FINAL sale and cannot be returned.
How to request a return(RMA):
1)To request a return of one or more items in an order, log in to your account and navigate to My Account.
2)Navigate to the Completed Orders section and click on the Return Item(s) button
3) In the next screen select the products you want to return using the Qty. to Return drop down boxes, choose the Return Reason. The Return Action and Comments are optional fields. Click on Submit Return Request.

Order process times depends on what you have selected. Most items by BLK AND NOIR are made by hand. If you have a handmade,custom, or imported item, it may take up to a week to ship. However, you can monitor your order status by logging into your account or simply asking by email (info[at]blkandnoir[dot]com or blkandnoir[at]gmail[dot]com). Once your order has been shipped you will be emailed with your tracking information. Using that tracking information, you can monitor your package and it's arrival. How much is shipping?
Shipping is a flat rate so that customers don’t have to worry about the price changing while they are buying. You can buy as much as you want and the rate never changes. In fact, you could buy the whole store and pay one rate.
Domestic Shipping is a flat $3.95, with insurance it is $5.49
Priority Domestic Shipping is $7.95 and includes free insurance
Canada is a flat $11 and includes free insurance
Australia is a flat $14.11* with free insurance (sorry for this price increase, we are really hoping the USPS brings their prices down but there is no way around it!)
Everywhere else is $11 WITHOUT INSURANCE, with Insurance it is $14.11
We ship via USPS for most items and UPS for some imported items.
*Maybe subject to change depending on the shipping market price .

How long will it take to receive my order?
Most items are handmade and made to order. It may take up to a week to create your items, imported items also may require additional time (read below to learn about imported items)
UPDATE: 1/2015 - We are starting to notice a slow down of postal mail. We once prided ourselves that we could reach places like California and New York in 2-3 days, but now even close places like Texas are taking 3-5 days.We also notice the post office not scanning in every single location making tracking difficult to follow. Note that this is due to United States Post Office shutting down in various places and cutting down their workforce to stay afloat. Therefore we have increased the estimated time of arrival from 2-3 days to 2-8 days for normal days-domestic and 3-14 days for major holidays.
UPDATE 5/2015 - Due to request we now offer domestic priority mail with free insurance. This is a much quicker method, and depending on location can arrive in 1-3 days.
2-8 Days on normal days.
3-14 Days during major holidays.
1-4 Days for IMPORTED ITEMS which ship separately.

My package hasn't arrived yet, help!
If you have not received your package in 2 weeks in the USA or 4 weeks Internationally please contact us. We will monitor your package with you and answer any questions about shipping terminology. Please do not wait months to express concern as it can void insurance claims or ability to find the package.
But note that although most packages can arrive in a week, there are cases when packages will take longer to ship and can even take as long as 30 days (USA) or 60 days (international). This maybe due to weather conditions,holidays,postal strikes,slow custom offices and other unforeseen events.Please be patient, we will work with you to find your package.
DO NOT WAIT weeks or months before contacting us if you have not received your package. Time is of the essence and the longer you wait the less likely your package can be found or if you purchased insurance less likely your claim is valid.
If you are from the USA and would like insurance please select Flat Rate With Insurance or Priority Mailing
If you do not select insurance and your purchase is lost or stolen, we can not refund you. Please consider insurance, it's quite affordable and can be added at any time before you received "your order has shipped" email
For international orders, we offer the option of insurance
You must select insurance to have your item insured. If you do not, we are not responsible for lost,stolen,missing or damaged packages .
If your package is lost, the wait time to file a claim is :
Domestic: 20 Days
International: 40 Days
If your package is damaged in the mail:
All damaged good and packaging material must be kept in the original form as received.
The item can not be sent back until the claim is filed and completed.
Insurance claims require the cooperation of the customer to receive a refund. You will be prompted to fill out an electronic form. The form takes less than 5 minutes and requires information about your order.
Imported items ship separately from non-imported items using UPS or USPS depending on the item. USA orders take 3-5 business days to ship . International orders will take an additional 3-5 business days then is added to normal shipping time. Imported items shipped in the USA are automatically insured by UPS. If you have a problem with a package not arriving please contact us within 10 days of its delivery date.
NOTE: IMPORTED ITEMS ARE NOT RETURNABLE. PLEASE TAKE THAT IN MIND WHEN PURCHASING.
Availability: Due to being imported from designers or other countries, Items may or may not be in stock at certain times. In the event it is out of stock you will be notified with the option to receive a full refund and/or be notified when it is restocked.
CUSTOM MADE ITEMS
CUSTOM MADE AND PERSONALIZED ITEMS ARE FINAL SALE
It is important that you type your personalized messages and words exactly as you want them. It is the customer's responsibility write in exactly what they want. There are two sections to approve it before checking out and a confirmation page where you can make clear exactly what you want.Please look over your order before clicking submit.
If you think that it may be an issue please contact us first. Once engrave a personalized item has gone into production or completed, you can not cancel it or change it and it can not be refunded. You may be contacted for input if a custom item is too long, looks strange, or a font isn't available.
Note: Our items are hand engraving and not by a machine so it may not be exactly perfect. However, we try to make it as neat as possible and if it's not up to par, we toss it. We also believe that hand engraving gives each piece uniqueness and character and avoids the look of mass production.
When requesting engraving or customize messages, you agree that you own the rights to any custom messages,phrases,writings. You agree not to request words,phrases,quotes or writings that may violate any patent,trademark,copyright or other intellectual property or right. You agree that you have the permission,right and authority to use your engraving request and you authorize us to produce it on your behalf.
We are not responsible for any errors,mistakes,misspellings typed in by customers. We stand firmly by this policy.
Why was my order canceled?
Our most popular items are custom and personalized items. We may need to get in contact with you to discuss a possible issue with say sizing, a font, or when we need more information. We will contact you 3 times by email before we cancel your order and refund you.
Also, if there are address issues where we may need more information to be able to ship.
So it is important that you monitor your email accounts that you use when checking out.
WRONG ADDRESSES / UNDELIVERABLE
We are not responsible if you enter the wrong address and your package goes missing. Packages returned with failure delivery such as multiple delivery attempts, wrong address information, insufficient addresses, refusal, cancellation after an item has been shipped .If you do enter the wrong address (example: a place that doesn't exist), most likely what will happen is it will be marked as UNDELIVERABLE during tracking, in which the item will return to our address and we will have to reship it back to you at an additional charge . This can take up to three weeks for domestic orders and 1-2 months for international (if it doesn't returns at all, the customer will not be eligible for any refunds).
If however, it gets lost on the way back to us, it is not our responsibly to refund/replace your item! If you enter the wrong address and it goes to the wrong place and the receiver of the package decides to not return it, we are not responsible for the loss package.
We stand firmly by this policy. So please make sure you enter your address CORRECTLY.
Refused Packages/Unclaimed Packages/Abandoned Packages
If your package is processed and shipped correctly but you refuse it upon delivery,refuse to claim your item, refuse to pay import taxes duties, you will be responsible for the shipping charges of the item’s return in addition you maybe subject to restock fee of 10-15%. You will be refunded back the item’s original cost minus the return shipping fees + restock fee.
In the rare event your package is lost in transit : We investigate all lost packages and will help you locate your item.
We cannot be held responsible for packages once proof of delivery is generated.If you think you will have a problem with receiving mail, we recommend you pay a fee for insurance,select priority shipping (which has free insurance) or signature confirmation. If you do not request insurance or signature confirmation, we are not responsible once an item has delivered.
Wrong Item Sent:
If you receive a wrong item, we will provide you a return label by email. We will gladly give a full refund in the form of your choice after return of the item. Or we will gladly exchange the correct item to you with return of the wrong item.
