HOLIDAY SHOPPING GUIDE 2015

  HOLIDAY SHIPPING GUIDE 2015

Disclaimer: This guide is just a guide. None of the dates are guaranteed, because at the end of the day, every thing relies on the post office and how well they can handle demand.

The holidays are coming so you must prepare early. If you were with us last year, you remember that receiving packages were very hectic due to the holiday season and changes in the United State Post Office. But this year we are coming prepared! Here is what you need to know when shopping with us this Christmas season.

Last year it was a nightmare because United States Post Office decided that it no longer cared about first-class packages (okay, they cared, just not that much). Another contributing factor is the popularity of online shopping. These events make the post office and UPS overwhelmed with tons of packages that have to be delivered in a short amount of time. This causes them have serious issue with efficiently delivering packages during the holiday season. These circumstances made our package late and a lot of times things went missing. But this year we are going to try to avoid this by giving you a short guide on what you should do and how you should plan accordingly.

 1.    If you live United States you should really be considering on Priority Shipping around mid to late November. Not only will your package arrive faster, the post office takes more consideration for priority packages over first class packages. Priority shipments also put you in the front of the line when he comes to your order being shipped.

 2.    If you are shipping First Class it is best to decide to pay for insurance for your packages. Starting on November 23 we will be offering free insurance for all orders over $50. Insurance helps if package is lost or damaged that you can be reimbursed after filling out an insurance claim with us. Priority Shipping shipments already include free insurance on any amount spent

 3.    International shipments work out slightly better because as soon as it these the package leaves the USA, it moves much faster due other countries. However, there are no absolutes, therefore in mid-November we were start offering  Priority Shipping for international orders.

 4.    The cut off date to ensure mailing by Christmas shipping according to the USA post office is below. However, this is just a guideline by their office, there is still a chance after that date it will arrive in time for Christmas, but if you aren’t sure please select on Priority Shipping or Express Shipping to insure faster mailing. However, there are no guarantees.
